Bailey Lauerman Design Diversity Challenge

Bailey Lauerman is an advertising agency in Omaha, Nebraska, that is dedicated to understanding the diverse communities living outside of the ten largest cities in America. Each year, Bailey Lauerman hosts a competition at UNL’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications to design a mural that portrays the beauty of Nebraska’s diversity.

I developed the overarching theme of our mural, which compares individual threads in a quilt to that of the intricate perspectives each Nebraskan brings to our great state. Then, an art director brought this idea to life with visuals.
